A1 Team Switzerland is delighted to announce two new partners with FORDAHL-FOQ Group and CP. FORDAHL-FOQ Group is one of the leading global players in the industry of timing components for telecommunication systems. The group, founded by Nils Engdahl, started its activities in 1980 with two little companies and a few employees in Switzerland and Germany. Currently, it employs some 100 staff members all over the world. Its production facilities in Switzerland and in Germany are the most up-to-date in Europe in their aria. The timing devices, so-called crystal oscillators, currently are being used in all telecommunication facilities including docking stations for mobile phones and data transmission systems. The expansion of the internet and telecommunications in general led to an increased demand for accurate timing to ensure perfect synchronisation at all levels of telecommunication networks. As a leading company in its business area, FORDAHL-FOQ aims at communicating at the highest level. For two years, the group’s advertising strategy is based on motorsport sponsoring. The synergies are obvious: in both fields, speed and accuracy are key elements. Therefore, FORDAHL-FOQ has committed to supporting the Swiss A1GP Team and its driver Neel Jani. Fordahl Introduces a Miniature OCXO specifically designed for use in Femtocell base stations. The Industry’s smallest Femtocell OCXO has a -5 to 70°C temperature range and stability of ± 100 ppb for 5 days (30 to 50°C) and ± 250 ppb for 14 days (-5 to 70°C) in a 9 x 14 mm SMD Package. The standard pulling range is ≥ ± 5 ppm with a voltage control of 1.65 V ± 1.35 V.
